At the talks the parties devoted particular attention to cooperation in the field of energy and matters related to MALÉV Hungarian Airlines. On these issues they agreed that negotiations involving experts will be held in the near future.
During the talks it was agreed, among other matters, that Prime Minister Viktor Orbán would make a working visit to Russia still this year, and that Russia would host the IECC meeting to review 2010 and to define the joint tasks for 2011. The meeting is likely to take place early next year.
At the 8 October discussion the parties stated that there was no problem causing tension between them and that a mutually satisfactory compromise solution regarding all the items on the agenda was possible and close to being reached.
