A social security agreement was signed by Parliamentary Minister of State of the Hungarian Ministry of Human Resources András Doncsev and by Ambassador of Serbia Rade Drobac, on Friday in Budapest.
The document aims at reviving bilateral social security relations between Hungary and Servia, in line with the current national and international legislative environment. By aggregating the insurance periods provided in the two states, the coordination of the relevant services will be implemented through an updated regulatory system. The new agreement offers mutual benefits for citizens, and enhances the improvement of existing good relations between Hungary and the Republic of Serbia.
The agreement governing the coordination between the two countries should replace the document currently in force in 2014, following the agreement's ratification by Parliament.
