Minister of State for Employment Sándor Czomba visited the production hall of Her-Csi-Hús Ltd in Hernád, Pest County.
The company has been implementing a new development project for which the National Employment Fund has provided funds of HUF 70 million.The project includes the installation of new machinery which aims to further improve food safety and technology and thus boost competitiveness.
The company is a specialist of slaughtering and processing chicken as well as producing poultry meat specialties. The majority of products are whole, cut and filleted chicken and the remainder are poultry meat products.
In 2012, the company employed 206 people and was therefore the largest employer in the region. Out of that, the number of women was 162 constituting 78 percent of total labour force.
