The Ministry of Interior’s Deputy State Secretariat for Public Employment organizes a series of events titled “About public employment to local government leaders” for leaders responsible for public employment and for administrators dealing with public employment at labour-centre branch offices. The opening of the series was on 10 October, in the Ministry of Interior in Budapest with the participation of officials of Pest and Nógrád counties.

4000 local government leaders connected to public employment and administrators working at labour-centre branch offices will be generally informed about the regulations and documents of the public employment system.

The series of events will provide useful information for the invitees on best practices of public employment and monitoring experiences of the past years. The aim of the events is to help local governments in planning public employment related tasks for 2013 and implementing public employment model-programmes in order to help those who are the most in need of state employment.

The participants will be informed about training possibilities connected, and will also be briefed on equal treatment of employees.
