The Hungarian Maltese Charity Service launched a new website called "Webnurse" (http://www.webnover.hu/) on Tuesday, offering free advice on care services. Minister of State for Family and Social Affairs Miklós Soltész said at the launch press conference that such initiatives are very welcome in Hungary, where more than 50,000 elderly people are cared for in social institutions.

He said the initiative could be instrumental in teaching families how to care for the elderly and sick in a family environment.

Webnurse was developed by the Maltese Charity Service over a period of almost two years and includes comprehensive advice about caring for old people, with an easily accessible list of medical services, a helpline, regular articles about health-related topics, recipes and, most importantly, almost fifty instructional videos concerning patient care.
