The exhibition is held at the HUNGEXPO Budapest Fair Center on 27-30 May 2014 with the participation of 12 countries and more than 270 exhibitors.

At the event, Minister of State for Planning Coordination István Komoróczki spoke about the significance of the Economic Development and Innovation Operative Programme (GINOP).

He said that GINOP aims to improve the competitiveness of enterprises through facilitating high added value production and cooperation. Thus, business conditions are expected to become better. As a whole, these measures will provide easier access to and expansion on foreign markets.

As István Komoróczki added, out of GINOP funds, in 2014-2020 the following amounts will be disbursed: HUF 480bn for the development of SMEs, HUF 512bn for bolstering research and innovation, HUF 169bn for info-communication, HUF 154bn for tourism, HUF 68bn for energy development, HUF 619bn for employment and education as well as HUF 720bn for financial instruments.

At the four-day event, along with the exhibition of products and services, professional forums will also take place. The opening ceremony will be followed by the forum of suppliers from the vehicle and machinery manufacturing sector. This meeting is organized by innovative enterprises that are active partners in Hungary’s reindustrialization process.
